vintage wedding // eucalyptus barn : todd & angela

Nov 25

Erich Chen brought me along to second shoot Todd & Angela’s AMAZING vintage wedding at Eucalyptus Barn in Oxnard. I knew this drive very well from when I used to drive back and forth to college in Santa Barbara… so it added a nostalgic feel. Seriously, I was beyond inspired and captivated by the entire style of this wedding. The cherry on top? Todd & Angela’s wedding made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. They’re truly beautiful people inside and out. The guests were an even friendlier reflection of what beautiful worlds these two have fused together with their union. I literally fell in love. With everything. Such an intimate, heartfelt celebration of love… I can only hope that I would one day have a wedding this lovely. The ceremony took place with all their love ones surrounding them under a tree and the reception was in a barn! A wedding with whimsical charm, vintage essence, and soulful romance. A dream wedding in my book for sure. Erich is so freaking awesome to shoot for, and I was so happy to be on board for this one. The photographs I took… make me smile. The colors…. a perfect shade of LOVE. And style that I adore!

It was hard to only choose a select few favorites. As you can tell :/ I just hope my editing did the wedding justice. I wanted to keep it still classically processed, while still adding some vintage flare into the mix.

*sigh* I hope there are many more weddings for me to photograph with the same heart and style as this one

Wow you weren’t kidding when you said this wedding was vintage! I love the theme, it seems to fit perfectly with the couple. They seem incredibly happy on their special day (as they should!) I’ve been to several weddings in the Santa Barbara area and they are always so nice, always a great time to attend or even be apart of! I was recently at a beach wedding at the Biltmore and it was a spectacular event. We all stayed at the South Coast Inn ( Right outside of town and beyond nice!

Such an awesome site! Wedding blogs are so much fun for future brides or not to search through and just admire the fashion and ideas all these brides implement for their special day! Santa Barbara is ideal for wedding or any big occasion, that backdrop is too good to get over! The Sandman Inn ( is a great choice when looking for hotels that are affordable and in the best part of town!
