After 4 years of the same tiny box of holiday decor, we got to update this year! I saw this feathery tree at Hobby Lobby and so began my color inspiration for the decor this year. I chose a blush, champagne, silver, ivory palette and accented it with a wine color. After finding 50% off discounts on all holiday decor at craft stores, I was excited to welcome a fresh look this year! There are some fun ones in there. We especially like to get a meaningful ornament every year to represent something new we did. Like the ice cream ornament for my daughters first taste of the yummy treat this year!

The trick is thinking ahead… about a couple days before Thanksgiving or the day after. Here are some of the items I loved. Some of it may even be great to snag in the after Christmas sales if they’re still available! Here are my fave items from a mixture of Hobby Lobby, Michaels, and Target.
