I’m just gonna say it. I couldn’t fit all the images I wanted to show in just one post. I usually have a problem with all the weddings I shoot.. trying to narrow down only the necessary favorites. But, the truth is… when the pictures are of people you love dearly…. it makes it just that much harder. So very difficult. So, I split the posts in two. Here is the first one. I was a bridesmaid, so I wasn’t able to photograph the entire wedding, but I hired a great team on my behalf and I want to thank them for being my arms and lens. There was an overall travel theme to the wedding, a lovely ceremony at Mary Star of the Sea in La Jolla, San Diego, and carried the rest of the celebration on to The Darlington House. The trolley idea was important to them, so why not rent one for the wedding day? You may recognize some Trolley images similar to their engagement session.
The Darlington House is one of my all time favorite wedding venues, it’s just so charming and I’ve always been in love with their bridal suite! I love love the images in that room. I had been looking forward to this day since I first got that facetime call from Europe! And it was such a heartwarming experience to experience it as a bridesmaid, and helping put together lots of fun details for them. What can I say… Saldana’s know how to do things right ;-) Because their wedding…. was absolutely beautiful in every way!
These images are a mixture of mine, Lindsey’s, and Angel’s images from my brother’s wedding. OF COURSE I had my cameras with me for the day. It’s part of the way I enjoy weddings. I didn’t know how to not take pictures. So I snuck some shots in here and there through out the day. This wedding is a great insider glance into who they are, because it was a huge explosion of their personalities together. Which is another reason why I can’t fit it all in one post. A variety of images to show off the BIG, passionate love they share and just how enormous their hearts are. It truly is the perfect display of who they are. I love you guys! … and I would be lying if I said I didn’t tear up just watching this slideshow.
