Everyone… it’s our FIRST wedding anniversary!

And I know…many of you may not know us and our journey, but this is something huge. We have chatted and dreamed about the day we would finally get married… for the 10 years leading up to May 4, 2014. So, to be here celebrating what we’ve only imagined and longed for, is truly so special to us. We have been through great times, and we have been through some tough, difficult, and amazing milestones together. We have been apart, but most importantly, we have persevered through the trials to come back together. God’s grace, and certainly His patience and wisdom have been our rock. In the darkest of days, we have reflected on who we are as individuals and became better for it…it’s helped us learn to love each other better each day. We are truly grateful for so much. The happiness that we have together is real. From the silly arguments on where we should place things in the fridge, to the hysterical conversations we have about nonsense, to the comforting arms we embrace each other with, all of it… is amazing. We are best friends. As I sit here, on a late night / early morning of our anniversary, not even my husband knows I am writing this… he is asleep. I wanted to surprise him with a little something. Reliving our wedding through our photos. I haven’t touched a single image…until now.

To my husband, the man I have loved since I met you, I love you. I love your heart. I love your mind. I love your spirit. I love your constant and unwavering search for God’s guidance in tough times, I love your laugh (the uncontrollable one that is rarely heard by others beside me), I love the way you make me laugh all the time. I love your intelligence, I love that you inspire me to be patient, I LOVE to laugh with you, I love that we both have a passion for worship music, art, creativity, and I especially love when you sing to me…your voice brings me peace. I love that we can have deep conversations one moment and joke ridiculously the next. I think you are the most handsome man in the world (I may joke sometimes, but really…Thor aint got nothin on you my lovie). I love that there is no other man in this world that I would rather be married to than you. I am your biggest cheerleader and believe you are something amazing. You have and will continue doing great things. Very simply, I ADORE YOU…all that you are and ever will be…good and bad, inside and out. <3 Love your wifey
