This Gold + Marble Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Baby Sprinkle at RSVP Event Space is definitely a WAY delayed post. But it’s one near and dear to my heart. (I am very much no longer pregnant lol). For Mother’s Day this year, I gave myself permission to carve out time to edit personal photos. It wasn’t easy considering I’m always shooting, so there’s always something to edit for clients. But I’m so glad I took the time. It brought a huge smile to my face. It was also bittersweet seeing my stomach before I had ever met my 2nd daughter.
We named “Baby Arellano”(our little pandemic) baby Zanaiah. Her 1st birthday came and went and now she’s 2 years old and I am very acquainted with her personality and warmth. I hope she gets to see this one day and know how much she was loved even before the day of her birth. I just had to throw her at least a little sprinkle because I didn’t want her to look back and see her sister’s photos and not have her own.
Gold Twinkle Little Star Baby Sprinkle Decor
It was so special to share this Gold Twinkle Little Star Baby Sprinkle at a venue that is operated and run by one of the best ladies and my dear friend, Nellie Mun. RSVP Event Space is the perfect setting for any intimate celebration, especially baby showers. There is plenty of free parking in close proximity, and they provide such high quality tables and chairs. Definitely look into it if you are planning your party!
I had so much fun designing and coming up with this event design concept. I love gold… so naturally I thought of stars. But I didn’t want the typical star shape. I chose my favorite emoji star <3. Happily Ever Etched custom laser cut my twinkle twinkle design and I couldn’t have imagined it any better! Jenny you are so loved and its crazy to think… two years after these photos were taken, she is now holding her own baby girl!
Nobody else would know, but I recycled pieces of my 1st daughter’s baby shower (hers was marble + rose gold themed). All the marble paper I had left over… I ended up cutting into strips for the table runner you see in these photos.
Desserts
The invite design featured a gold leaf look on marble, so I asked Sweetleemade to bring this to life in the cake. She did just that, and it came out stunning! Not to mention she also made mini donuts, and marbled chocolate covered cake pops with gold leaf flakes too! My sweet friend Kim Ichiriu made us custom stamped cookies with the similar gold leaf accent. They were as delicious as they were beautiful.
Florals
For florals, I went to the dtla flower mart and with the help from some dear ladies, Euri, & Shiloh we arranged it all into my personal inventory of vases. I took all the detail shots, but I’m thankful our friend JT took photos of people with my camera for us <3 Truly some special memories I wouldn’t have wanted to miss!
These are some of the last days we spent together before becoming a family of 4. My oldest daughter is now 5 and looking back at these photos she looks oh so teeny. She’s now such a great big sister and I’m grateful for our life as a family. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped out (epecially those early birds who helped set up!).
