Our girls have long been obsessed with ballet, and although they hadn’t ever taken lessons, it was an easy decision to do a pink and gold ballerina birthday party. And I couldn’t stop asking myself, “What happened to my babies?” I still remember their sweet newborn cuddles, sounds, and brand-new baby scent. It was just yesterday Zanaiah turned one, and I’ve blinked and now they are 6 and 3 years old! Time refuses to stand still, but I’ll keep taking as many photographs as possible to remember these years long after they’ve grown.

DESIGN & PLANNING

We have been to Little Elephants Kids Place many times and love how clean and safe the place feels for little ones to freely run around and play. So it was an easy choice to book it for our girls’ birthday. The tougher challenge was to make all the ideas bouncing around in my head come to life.

One of my favorite things to do creatively is design for my girls. It’s just me, a stylus, and a blank canvas, and my vision started taking shape. Once I designed it, I sent it to Pretty Little Events who was with me the whole way with support and advice. I still can’t fathom how they can create multiple events each and every week. (Here are a couple of those beauties: Bluey 1st Birthday & Pink & Yellow 1st Birthday). As for me, planning once a year for the girls is the sweet spot. I will do my photographer thing the rest of the year. And have fun making boomerangs in our photo booth.

So many friendors took part in making this all come to life. In addition, family and friends helped carry, move, and pick up all the things. Thank you all for being part of this beautiful pink and gold ballerina birthday party for our little girls!
